As you may or
may not know, the Star City VFD is a non-profit, ALL VOLUNTEER
organization that provides the primary fire and rescue services
for your residence and the surrounding area. We have been able
to remain completely volunteer since our charter in 1939. As a
private, non-profit organization a large percentage of our
annual operating costs are covered by the generous donations
from people like yourself. The importance of your donation this
year is more important that ever due to the increase in funds
required to finance our everyday operations. Your donation will
help the fire department continue to provide an excellent
service to you and other residents of Monongalia County. As
always, any contribution you are able to make is greatly
appreciated.
